Member of the First Baptist Church of Aurora. His faith was very important to him; served as Deacon in the church. Member of the Aurora Masonic Lodge #51, where he served as Master for 4 terms, Received the Award of Gold for being a 50 year member. Member of Indianapolis Scottish Rite, Cincinnati Shriner's, Southeastern Indiana Shrine Club,Versailles Eastern Star, Gideon's International and the Rising Sun American Legion Post #59. Enjoyed farming, and raising cattle. Greatest joy, was his wife Bonnie and family. Gave his all in everything in which he was involved. Touched many lives and will be remembered for his amazing work ethic. He never asked anyone to do anything that he wouldn't do himself. Honest man and known for his integrity. Preceded in death by his parents. Friends received November 24, 2020 at the First Baptist Church, 6060 Blair Rd., Aurora, Indiana. Masonic services will be held prior to the service. Services will be held at the church with Pastor Bill Secrest officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Rising Sun Honor Guard. Contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children. Rullman Hunger Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
